I’m having my first fitting next week, which means this weekend I have to get shoes/undergarments. I’m curious, are you getting cups/bra sewn into your dress or wearing an undergarmet? If you’re wearing an undergarment, are you wearing a bra, or corset, or what? I just can’t decide!

Haha there’s no option for multiples! I had cups sewn into the dress to make it fit better, but also wore a bustier for coverage. I didn’t want to be standing there totally topless while the bridesmaids and my mom got me into the dress. I have a few pictures of it (I had to kneel on the ground and try to crawl through the top of the dress with my veil already on … quite the production) and that would have been rather X-rated if not for the bustier! Plus I liked having my rib cage and tummy all tucked in.

I wore a long & lean bra under my dress because I figured it would stay better than a regular strapless bra.

I am having cups sewn into my dress as well as wearing a bustier to suck me all in and give me that extra lift.
I would suggest getting a good strap less bra and bustier. Before your fitting try both on and see what you feel most comfortable in. Bring both to your fitting and try them on with the dress. You should be able to make your final decision then.

some of us are less-endowned and don’t need any of the options! wearing the long-line bra during my fitting made me lightheaded? I may wear it for part of the day just because we paid $80 for it… I have a weird feeling if I do wear it, it’s going to get peeled off sometime and just thrown out!

I’m not planning on wearing any bra… My dress is solidly constructed and even though I’m busty I think it will fit better without…

I voted other. I could get cups sewn in, but I really think I’m opting for nothing. It’s a thick dress, so you can’t see anything, plus, I hate bras. That being said, I think a lot of women opt for the long bras. They seem to stay in place a little better than a regular strapless.

THe dress I think I’m going to wear doesn’t need a longline bra (I have another dress that does need the longline bra). The dress fits so well in the body and it’s not heavy enough for me to keep pulling up. However, I’m an A cup and I need alittle more cup to fill out the chest area, so I voted for getting cups sewn in.

I’m having cups sewn in, but also wearing a light strapless bra. I’m an A so extra is always nice haha, but mostly I just would really prefer not to be topless in front of my mom, sister, bridesmaids, photographer, etc while climbing into my dress.

I’m a 38F and I didn’t wear anything on top under my dress – it was constructed well enough to hold me in and up.

@almostmrsj I’m 34F and I swear a well constructed dress does my girls better than any bra
Edit: Less back fat too… lol

I wore a corset and a strapless bra.. both gave me an uber lift. I’m a 42DD so I needed it.
