Maybe I'm crazy... I hope someone else has the same feeling.

When I'm looking at wedding dresses online... and the model is infront of an all white background, especially when the photos are small (like on the search page).... it drives me NUTS!

If I'm on the index page and I can't tell what any REALLY look like... more often then not I'm moving on... I'm not patient enough to click on every picture.

Ugh, just needed to get that out there.  Makes me crazy.

Dress websites drive me crazy, too.  Why can't they ever have the price?!

This drove me crazy when I was dress shopping - but in stores. They all had white walls, and half the pictures my mom took are in front of a white wall (or a mirror reflection of a white wall) and it's so hard to see the dresses in our photos!

@daydreamwanderer- That's just crazy!  Silly dress stores. I've been looking at dress websites all day and I keep skipping the ones with white backgrounds.

It makes no sense--why wouldn't they make it easy to see what the dresses look like?? And those pictures where the model is seated or all turned around so you can only see the top of the dress or just the side or just the back--I want to see the entire dress before I decide if it's worth it to try it on!

Agree! Also, the Casablanca/Paloma Blanca/et al websites irritate me because it shifts the scroll bar when you click on one, so you can't find which one you last looked at and have to keep scrolling. And just blech. But yes, I really hate when the thumbnails are small or white background or hard to see or whatever. I don't always want to see every dress, but it's so difficult to narrow it down based on blurry white shape. ALSO I hate when they have the models in artsy poses that obscure half the dress. I want to see a front and back shot, not some contorted side/seated/turned shot that doesn't show me much. For all I know, the other side of the dress is cut out like swiss cheese. //rant.

Ah, I see others have pointed these things out. Well, it still felt good to say it haha.

@Amaryllis: OMG! I know!! The Casablanca site drove me crazy. So I just came on wedding bee and looked for threads with Casablanca dresses instead.

I also hate when the models have that weird pose where they're like hunched over and concave or something. And they look depressing...does not make me want to buy the dress! And I agree with the price thing. So annoying!

@Amaryllis- Exactly why I posted... just good to get it out there :)
I agree about the Casablanca website, totally closed it this morning cause it was annoying me.

It was the Eve of Milady/Amalia Carrara website that drove me nuts. Not only can you not save any of the pics, but there are no definite model numbers for the dresses. What's A1 this year can become A5 next year, A5 will became something random like A12 and so forth. So when you call a store and ask about a particular model you may be talking about two entirely different dresses! And forget about searching for the pic on the web by the model number because you'll get ten different dresses. For a company who makes such expensive dresses, why can't they make a decent website?

@meliss-  that sounds very odd, and completely not helpful!

I just want to agree that some dress websites are horrible! Plus I dont understand why they dont list the price. Especially the ones that are strictly online based and there isnt a bridal store that you can go too.
