I had a similar problem, but it had nothing to do with birth control! LOL. I guess my body just got all excited about getting married and the girls perked up! I got rid of my bra too, and voila, like a glove.
So frustrating! I had been on a generic BC, and hated what it did to my body -- making me feel much fatter in spots where I'd normally been trim. I switched back to my (considerably more expensive) brand name pill several months ago, and am much happier now!
I've had that same problem with birth control. My boobs have grown a full cupsize. There are so many pretty dresses that I'd love to try, but I don't want to look boob-tastic.
Congrats on losing 8 lbs though. :)
YES! I was a very straightforward size 6 when I was trying on dresses while on the pill (like, fit the measurements EXACTLY and would probably have needed no alterations at all!), but I stopped seven weeks ago and when I tried on dresses with my mom yesterday, I was in between sizes. :( Suddenly the 4 fits the bust perfectly, while my waist and hips are both 1/2" bigger than the size 4. I was so disappointed. Couldn't I have just dropped the tummy when I quit the pill, instead of my boobs? ;)
Maybe Spanx can get the girls in order? Also, it could be just water weight, maybe a diauretic? (NOT healthy, but could work in a pinch!) Maybe a low-carb diet would help you lose a few pounds fast. BC is such a pain! Good Luck!
I had that problem with my BM dress! I was on the fancy schmancy brand name version because my doctor had a whole box of trials - over a year's worth - that she just gave to me a few months before my fitting. I hadn't had any dramatic weight gain, maybe two or three pounds, but I guess my boobs got way bigger from the generic brand I switched over once I ran out of the samples. I, too, had to ditch the bra at the last moment. No big, and the dress was boned and you couldn't see anything. But still, stupid BC!

Hey Ladies! So, I've had a frustrating experience and wondered if anyone else experienced the same. I bought my dress in February and totally love it. When I bought it, though it was a "snug" fit, it definitely fit! When I tried it on again in May when it arrived, "OH NO!!!!!!!" Suddenly, my friend could barely zip it and I was devestated... and confused! Sure I had gained about 3 pounds but this was a drastic change. So, I left the dress at my friends house and went home determined to lose weight. I tried it on yesterday, excited that I had lost 8 pounds since the last fitting and.... "Uh Oh! While a tad better, still TIGHT!" Fortunately, my friend made a suggestion, lose the long line bra that was overly thick since the dress offers plenty of support and it was all good. Turns out the problem was that I went on birth control in February and I'm suddently more well endowed. Fortunately, getting rid of the uneccesary bra is going to make it doable but I was wondering if anyone has had a similar dress problem do to birth control. So frustrating!
