Ok I know its a little TMI, but bottom line is..I’m worried about sweating so much in my dress. I sweat alot in general and I seriously don’t want to be that girl that has pit stains all down my arm holes of my dress lol. I normally just wear deodrant without antiperspriant because it irritates my skin and makes it red. I figured I could just use an antiperspriant for one day, what do you ladies use and recommend? and does anyone else feel this way?!

@foreverlovex: I knew a girl that sweat a lot (actually had a medical condition) and she got botox shots in her armpits which worked for her. Other than that I’m not sure, I don’t really sweat much so I probably won’t be able to help with product recommendations.

@foreverlovex: Why don’t you go see a dermatologist and see what they recommend? I have used a topical treatment in the past that reduces sweating. I think it is called Drysol and it is prescription only. It can be a little uncomfortable, but if you used that for a few weeks before the wedding you would be good to go!

@foreverlovex: You, my dear, need this. It’s a miracle worker. And you don’t have to buy it online, drugstores etc sell it. It was 100 degree’s the day we got married so for the 2 weeks ahead I had been smearing that under my arms, between my boobs, and even in my butt cheek creases! Worked like a miracle!

@foreverlovex: I would second MsJ2theZ‘s suggestion, but be prepared to be uncoooomfortable and possibly for some other side effects that you may not like… I used Certain Dri because I sweat like a beast and was so embarrassed about it. It basically blocks your sweat glands, but it can feel really uncomfortable and itchy, and if you’re anything like me will cause compensatory sweating, which is basically where you start to sweat somewhere other than your armpits. Logically, if your body is hot it’s going to have to sweat it out somewhere, and for me when my armpits weren’t sweating, my head and back would be.
That being said, Certain Dri definitely worked for my underarm sweating, no doubt about that! If you’re interested in trying it, I would definitely try it out once a while before your wedding, so you can see if it’s for you and get used to it.

I’m hoping to powder myself down in hope that it will keep some of the sweat issues at a minimum!

whatever you try, be sure to test it out far in advance. you never know if one of those things could give you a rash.
