I haven't donated any BM dresses (don't have any - have never been one!) but I have donated a few old prom dresses to a charity that collects and distributes them to high school girls who can't afford dresses for their own prom.. I think they would probably take some more modern bridesmaid dresses also!
Nope. It's unfortunate but I can't really participate in things like that. When it comes to dresses and jeans no one else would be able to wear things that fit me. I'm way below the average height. The last BM dress I had, had to be taken completely apart and remade. My prom dress was specially made for me. Tops and coats I can *usually* still give away though

My MOH and I donated some dresses today! I donated a bm dress that I had from a wedding I was in two years ago. And my MOH donated the dress she wore in my wedding. We donated them to a dress event that is happening in my town next month. All the money made from the dresses sold at the event will go to a house in town that supports transplantation patients.
I feel good that these dresses we would never wear again are going to a good cause. Anyone else donate their dress to a charity?
