Ok I definitely have decided I want a corset back (thanks bee's!) Now I want to see what dresses with heavy beading and corsets look like so I get an idea =)
let me see those amazing dresses ladies!
really nobody has a beaded dress with a corset?
My gown is corsetted but I had them put a zipper in the back cause corsets tend to get lose and slide down and i don't want to be fixing the girls all night. I can send you a photo to you email if you'd like. :)

yes it true that after a few hours of wearing your dress, zip or corsett, it will probably loosen a little bit, but the best thing about corsett backs is, they can be tightened when that happens.
@anne B: I noticed, and actually research this a lot, and talked to a few seemstresses, that zippers will hold you and your dress better than the rope and tie.
Truely though, it's a matter of preference. but that was really important to me. I HATE adjusting my chest.
Mine isn't heavy beading but more like heavy lace with a corset.. here is a picture

I have posted mine waaaay too many times but it has heavy crystal beading with a corset . . .

My dress is the same as @cs71904. It does have a lot of beading on it but it is not over the top. It has a nice mixture of beading and lace just like cs71904 said! She is a beauty! :)
ETA: Sorry they are so big and to the side. I don't know why they changed direction but you get the idea! :)
@HappilyEverAfter54: Thanks :) My actual dress is here and I am picking it up Tuesday - I am kind of bummed because I have not lost the 10 lbs I need to for it to fit perfectly but I know I have the time - just hate to have to put it on when I feel like a blob lol
Good luck in your search - I love the corset back and was DEAD SET against it when I started. Did not want strapless either lol
@unixfairy: I never wanted strapless or zipper and I ended up with both lol. Now I want the corset =D
@Danielle81: it looks like a dress I totally fell in love with today (my first real dress regret... my FI would cry because the dress was half the price of my dress) It was a Mori Lee is that a Mori too? If not it's very similar!
Mine was super beaded and heavy, but didn't have a corset - the original design did, but I had it switched to a beaded illusion back with buttons.
I don't know if mine is classified as heavy beading, but it does have beading on the front and also down the sides along the corset.
@HappilyEverAfter54: It's a sottero and midgley called Dorothy. I've seen a few that look similar. Honestly, pictures don't do it justice! It is even prettier in person!
heres the Mori Lee it reminded me of... only because I now have an unhealthy obsession with this gown...
@HappilyEverAfter54:it is beautiful and totally does remind me of my dress. I would say the only difference is that the Dorothy has more lacy on the bodice and the skirt is all tule. But that is also so pretty! I am allowing you to continue with your obsession! I am slightly (ok, majorly) obsessed with my dress too!

Aww thank you misschickpea and Mrs. tobe. I had a lot of trouble taking pictures that day because for some reason the lighting was bad. But I am always using my canon camera which is the best gift I ever got from my FI because he knows I love photography.
Can't wait to wear my dress!!

@katie914: hehe she beat me to it... I love this dress... they had one in my local boutique today for under $300 I nearly fainted =( too bad I already have a dress hehe
@tiny tuna: can you post the whole thing? I think I've seen it before but again it took my breath away... it's so soft and girly... I love it... and I agree everyones beaded gowns and corsets look wonderful, you've all really inspired me and I just know mine will be okay with a corset too... thank you ladies!
@HappilyEverAfter54: You found the Mori Lee for under $300?!?! I haven't tried it on yet, but that picture is what made me want a tulle ballgown. I still can't get past the $300! Wow!
@mrstj2b: yeah in fact I came home and wrote 2 threads all about it... one about the 40+ designer dresses for under $300 and another about my first ever serious dress regret lol
