These pictures are a little bit scary, I’ve just ordered a veil too. But I figured it was so cheap and I have so long to plan that if I hated it I could always find an alternative.

I don’t expect to receive it for a few weeks but when it shows up I’ll post some pictures for other brides.

This is sad, because generally DressilyMe does a fantastic job with their stuff. I’m so sorry honey 🙁 Have you looked on Etsy for a cheap option? There’s lots of makers on there!

@PacificMrs:  Agreed, i see so many dress successes!

I looked aroud etsy and veils similar to what you’re looking for seem to start from $30 🙁 Also, with the wedding in a month, would it come in time? You might be better off getting one from a bridal store.

Hi bees,

I have received my veil so I thought I’d follow up on here. I ordered this veil: http://www.dressilyme.com/wedding-apparel/beautiful-imported-yarn-one-layer-ivory-veil-matching-your-wedding-dress-10890.html

I was actually ordering some fabric samples and I figured since I was paying postage on those I may as well order a cheap veil as well, and if it wasn’t what I was looking for then I figured it would be no real loss.

I placed my order on 26th August and selected the slowest shipping possible. The items shipped on 1st of September and they arrived today. The veil was folded in clear plastic packaging and the mail bag seemed durable and waterproof.

The veil is advertised as yarn; I don’t believe that it is. It’s quite stiff, and the edging is not completely stitched down so that some of the peaks are folded over and the veil catches on itself quite a bit.

For the price I am actually really impressed. I probably could have made this myself but it would have been tedious. My only real complaint is that there is some pink thread caught up in the lace edge which I’m struggling to pull out. At first I thought it was used as stitching but it’s just really caught in there. I don’t want to pull too hard in case I unravel the stitches in the lace.
