Hello everyone! Since you’ve all been so helpful through reviews and photos of your dresses I hope to help others with my experiences.
First and foremost, I don’t have the money or am willing to buy a dress with a hefty pricetag to wear only once. I originally went to two bridal shops in town but quickly found that even the dresses out of my range didn’t make me too happy so through research here I narrowed down to these two Chinese dressmakers.
Most important to me was a flowy long layered gown. Everything was wasn’t a big deal, plain and simple with some crystals worked for me. Corset lace up to help with off measurements was beneficial too.
Dressilyme: My first choice was dressilyme.com. I saw many photos, great reviews, and pricing with them. I sent photos and I got a quote for $330 total(custom measurements and shipping). I asked for sample crsytals, beading, etc on what they would use but they couldn’t supply it to me. I also asked for suggestions on details on the dress but I think due to their limited English, we couldn’t communicate effectively. Their response time is usually within 24 hrs so that was nice but it can go on for weeks if you have alot of questions. Asking 1-2 questions per email was best. I just went with the photos I supplied completely. Either way, I was ready to place my order but I needed them to agree on approval photos before shipping. I read that you have to ask 2-3 times before they agree but that wasn’t the case for me. Due to their spring festival and busy season, they just couldn’t do it. So back to this site for more help!
Enjoy Dress Store: I actually didn’t read about them the first time around. I found some really nice photos but the best part was they take half up front and the other half when the dress is finished! They’ll send photos of the finished dress for you to approve then send the rest of the money! They responded very quickly! Within hours actually. I asked ALOT of questions! I apologized for asking so much and thanked a ton for their quick and patient responses. I asked for many sample photos and they supplied them! I even asked for suggestions about details of the dress I didn’t care for. They gave me photos of suggestions and everything! All the photos seem to be in their dress shop so I felt safer about it being their work. They are actually a wedding dress factory that makes dresses. Not a company with website like dressilyme.
