I ordered my dressilyme bridesmail dress after much searching for the elusive chapagne BM dress in the middle of summer. After shopping at dozens of stores, I knew that ordering online was the onl way to go. I placed my order 2 weeks ago and ordered the rush.
It arrived today, and is just as pictured, material and quality all good, fabric exactly what I wanted. I paid 150 in total for the FEDEX, rush and dress.
The zipper is a little firm halfway up the zip, but it just needs a little lubrication in there I think. Other than that, it is great and Id definitely order again. The dress was packaged profesionally as well.
I have attached a pic of the dress 🙂

I’m so worried becasue I am to trying to order from Dressilyme.com and they are giving me the run around. I asked if they could repicate a dress i tried on. They told me they could but the price was double the price of other dresses on their site. I found out I was also obligated to purchase the dress regardless of how it came out. They told me their are absolutley no refunds on a custom design. So I thought I change my dress to a dress that is already on their website. It was similar to my dress. They showed a picture of how the dress they make cames out. Plus the dress was half the price of the custom order. Before I purcased I asked if they could send me a picture of the dress before they mailed it. They told me they could not send pictures. I am so confused now because every thread I read brides are showing pictures of the dresses before it was shippeed to them. They won’t do that for me and will not make anyadjustments to the dress. I am now covenced that all the positive reviews about this company are written by the employees. Yes, even the comments that include a little con about the company. I feel they just do that to make the post seem more realistic. Does anybody have any suggestions of any other replica companies I can try. I am now so nervous.
P.S. I will call out all the comments I believe to be fake. This is the only reason I am commenting under this post.

I don’t think this is a fake positive review. OP has been posting about her journey with online dresses for quite some time. There are a lot of reviews on this site that are genuine, both positive and negative.
BTW, the dress is lovely!

@MrsOwenThomas: I’m really sorry for the trouble that you have had with the company, but I’m also confident that this positive review by OP is in fact true. You will note that she has many unrelated posts prior to this one.
Congrats on getting the dress you wanted OP. Ordering online is always a gamble and it looks like you came out on top with this one.

Woah! did someone up there just accuse me of a fake posting? That’s kinda absurd because I posted weeks ago about how I was trying to find a MOH dress in champagne for my friends wedding who ordered the flower girl dresses and then sent me, very specifically, a list of requirements for my drses, including taffeta.
It was my first time ordering from dressilyme but I was pretty impressed. I ordered from DHGate before (a different China supplier) and didn’t have as good an experience.
i am all about posting the good, bad and ugly, so, I am happy to report I don’t have much to do to fix this dress as I have 20 days until the wedding!!! 🙂
here is my origional post:
Specific MOH dress needed in 30 days-Bees, please help!

PS-I am blonde and I personally look horrible in champagne, so this isnt something I would personally order for myself and I can post pics of me in the dress at my friends wedding July 1st weekend…once it is slightly altered in the front so my breasts aren’t popping out like they are now. lol

@MrsOwenThomas: There are a multitude of options available for replica dresses, and it sounds like you would be better seved doing some more research on alternatives rather than “calling out” other reviews.
I had a great experience with GoodGoodsChina, now GrandGowns for my replica dress.
OP – I remember your first post and it sounded like a nightmare! Your dress looks really pretty, and I’m sure you’ll look awesome at the wedding!

Thanks! I am ordering a tangering and pearl necklace off Etsy right now, to hopefully offset the champagne a bit. I did order the dress to fit my chest, however, it is really lowcut (I think naturally) and I just dont want any spillover while I am signing the wedding certificate. Luckily , the dress came with a bow on the back. I took it off and am taking it to my seamstress to make a modesty panel. The only thing is that it will be in the lighter champagne, but there is nothing I can do. I cant wear it as it is…my FI loves it but um, I my 38C’s are on display. Its a family wedding! lol

@fivemonthsnotice: You might be having trouble with the zipper mid-ways on the dress due to the pleating section around the waist. My girls’ dresses were the same style and the zipper would always get a bit stuck once it hit the “band” portion of the dress. Once we got it over the initial hump it’d zip up perfectly fine the rest of the way through. 🙂

@Squee-diddly-dee: Yup-thats where the problem is.

Sorry Bees but I don’t trust any of it anymore. I guess in the heat of the moment I was ready to call out anybody on these blogs I think are fakes. I just need all the brides to know that their are employees all over these websites that are paid to go to great lengths to make them seem believeable. Who knows maybe I’m wrong but I don’t trust anybody.

wow, that’s some consipracy theory.

@MrsOwenThomas: You really think OP registered months ago and posted 650 times just so she could sneak a ‘fake’ review in here?
Every company has good and bad reviews.
