Well I have it! I have a 9 hour drive home tomorrow then I will open it! It is killllling meeeeeeeeee but I know I can't transport it if I open it now. Stand by for pics soon Bees!!!

I am now home in SC and the box is here in my bedroom. I promised my daughter and her BF pizza and a little trip down Ocean Blvd then I will come back, open it up, try it on and take pics!!!

OMG the anticipation is killing me! Im sure it will look gorgeous!

OK first of all, I got home from a 9 hour car ride, showered and then took the kids out for some sight-seeing. I am EXHAUSTED but I wanted to at least get a couple of pics for you guys. My daughter had no idea how to lace it up and I have on a black, yes a black bra (though I don't even think I will end up wearing one, I don't need it!) and so there are no rear view pics of me in it. I fully intend to get the dress steamed and at some point, do some real pics.

This is what I found when I opened the package:

That's my packing slip and the garment bag. Then this was under that:

That is the very nicely packed and wrapped (inside-out of course!) dress.  When I opened that, of course I found the expected DressilyMe cloth bag:

The first thing I did was pull it out and look at the boning, the seams, the loops for the corset and the BEADING...OMG, the beading! It's breathtaking and the craftsmanship on my gown is beyond amazing. I was so impressed! I turned it inside out and it's made of a lovely satin. Then my daughter leaned in and sniffed...what is that SMELL? She asked..she said it smelled like fish...and honestly I had not mentioned any of what I had read here to her...she's 15...so I leaned in to sniff. I couldn't smell fish but what I smelled was synthetic materical and when I sniffed closer, I honestly believe that it is the crinoline not the gown itself. At any rate it's not overpowering, so I got down to business. Here is what the boning inside the dress looked like:

It has loops to hang it from sewn in and what you see laying there is the bra cups that I asked them not to put in, which they didn't but they sent in case I want to (I don't, they are far too small for my 36DD's!) and extra beading in case it's needed. The corset lacing is a nicely sewn, thick ribbon-like satiny piece which is very sturdy like the dress. Here is what it looked like before I turned it right side in:

So I got it turned the right way and inspected it further. It's simply breathtaking and it seemed nicer quality, no loose threads, beading perfect, than gowns I browsed at a bridal salon recently.

And then the time came to put it on. Now you have to excuse #1 my office as we were still unpacking and #2 my daughter's boots in the floor behind me. Really no good way to crop it out.

The dress fit amazing and when I have my shoes/slip on it should be the perfect length:

So my overall impression of the dress is excellent. I wish I was better prepared to try it on, get into it properly and looking halfway human because I fear it's not a good representation of the lovely dress. It's heavy, gorgeous and worth every penny!!! Thanks DressilyMe!!!

Their beading is absolutely phenomenal. Honestly I am stunned!

It looks soooo good :) and wow at the tiny waist I am so jealous :) 

I have been annoying my FI since I realised you got the dress and actually squealed when I realised there were pics - he just rolled his eyes and said "excited much??" hahaha 

I am sooooo glad it turned out so well :) 

@ShellVee: Thank you so much!!! I am sorry it took so long! I just realized I don't think I have the embellishment at the waist pulled down far enough. Thanks on the waist comment, that's never been my trouble zone (think LOWER!!! LOL!!!)

I also wanted to add, that I submitted my order on 11/30 and it arrived at my alternate shipping location on 12/22 (one day late due to Fed Ex.) That is pretty amazing in and of itself!

@eagle: You know it turned out I didn't need them at all. In fact I really don't even need a bra thanks to the boning and the corset back.
