Thanks for your quick reply and offer your idears for the dress. So glad that you love the dress we made for you.
Here we list the change for the dress you want.
a. Please kindly note that the beadings andappliques around the hip is the same with the bust and waist. As the beading flower are sewn on the dress. The dress will be destroyed if the flowers removed. The flowers are beautiful on the dress.
b. You want to trim the appliques around the sweetheart neckline, right?
c. So sorry that the sweetheart neckline could not be changed. If you want to make the neckline deeper, we can do that for you. But we could not make it higher.
d. The appluques are swen on the ruchings. It is just because the dress is sit on the mannequins.
e. You want to make more ruching from the hip applique. Please kindly note that as the ruching is made by hand. So it won’t be made exactly 100 % as the picture. Our dressmakers will try their best to do that.
a. You want to make the dress back slope downward and add more lace appliques below the slope downward.
b. You will want the panel starts where the curve begins as the blue line.
c. We will help you add the new appliques on the pink circle you point out.
d. You want the ruchings of waist on the left side as the same with right side. Please kindly note that the ruchings are made by hand, so we could not make sure it will be the same. We will informed our dressmakers try their best to make the ruchings.
e.You want to make the ruching from hip to buttocks as the purple line be folded diagonally fold downwards toward the floor. We will need dismantle the ruchings firstly and then redo the ruchings. As it is handmade, we could not make sure it will be the 100% same with the original dress. We just can try our best to do that.
For the train
a. Please kindly note that the underneath is shorter than the outer layer chiffon as the picture. We could not make the short thing to long. So we could not make the underneath satin extend further out longer. We just can make the long to short. If you want to shorten the outer layer chiffon a little, we can do that for you.
My reply to Amy was:
a) The flowers are worse than dislike–I hate the look of the flowers! I like the hip applique because I do not see the flower at all and I see the lovely vines. There are a lot more flowers from the bust to the waist. I can live with the deeper V of the neckline or the fact that the direction of the ruching on the right bust should be from left to right instead of right to left (I didn’t point it out since I think the bust area’s ruching looks good) or the satin being shorter than the chiffon…but I really do not like the flowers. Please, please, please help me think of a way to replace the flowers with vine ones or another lace applique.
b) Yes, just so that the appliques by the neckline is not showing above the neckline.
c) That’s ok. Please leave it as is.
d) Thank you for the explanation. Please leave it as is.
e) I am forever grateful that the seamstresses are making my dress by hand and I thank them in advance for taking the time to make the ruchings like the ones on the original dress. Yes, please have the seamstresses try their best! I will make sure that the wonderful dress done by the seamstresses will be posted and reviewed in several websites for all the new brides-to-be looking for a lovely dress.
a) Yes, please. Thank you!
b) Yes, please. Thank you!
c) Yes, please. Thank you!
d) Yes, please. Thank you!
e) Yes, please! Again, I would really, really appreciate the seamstresses try their best to match the original dress. I sincerely thank the seamstresses for making it as close to the original dress as possible. Thank you, thank you, and more thank you.
a) That’s ok. Thank you for the explanation. Please leave it as is.
