@Milou:  Can you post pictures of the original dress and then a picture of yourself?  I’m trying to envision all of this!  🙂

Ditto…

What do you want the dress to look like in the end?

theres something weird about the bottom. Maybe the tulle that they used is too see through or idk..i feel like it needs more fabric to the skirt.

@Milou:  I think the dress looks off, but then maybe it is because it isn’t on an actual person and just a form. I think the skirt looks too sheer compared to the original and that maybe the skirt needs to be tailored better. The dress that they sent you a pic of looks kind of messy and not tailored very well. But then it could be a bad picture too. I think the tailoring is a bit off and maybe the empire waist should be brought down a bit and with more structured lace straps. And the added material in the skirt I think would help with making it look more like a wedding dress. It is a pretty dress just needs some work with tailoring and adding embellishments.

If I were you, I might try asking them to try to make the lace straps a bit broader. I see what you mean about how the appliques are a bit uneven. I think it is fair to ask them to try to apply an even amount on each side. If it helps, though, I doubt that anyone who was just casually looking at the dress would notice. It’s noticeable to you because you’re looking at it very closely and trying to find things wrong with it.

The skirt needs to be gathered more…in the original, there are many pleats of chiffon, but yours looks like it’s just straight across (hence looking too sheer).

@Bazingau:  +1

Tht was the first thing I noticed.

That and the uneven appliqués, though it may just honestly be an off picture and not the dress itself with that one.

The dress appears to have only 2 or 3 layers of tulle it needs at least 6 IMO, and they are not even.

Just to give an idea what it will look like with 6 layers this is the flower girl dress I ordered from Jasmine’s and I requested 6 layers of tulle.

I don’t think they should use tulle. I think they need to use a softer more flowing fabric like chiffon which will just fall nicer, also more pleats and wider straps.

To me, it seems the top half is too small. In the photograph, the sides strech down and wrap around further down in the back. In fact, the original dress seems to be at least twice as long in the back as the one they have made for you. I also second the straps being too thin and the appliques are too small to cover the seams as they do in the original.
