Well I have not ordered my dress as yet because I want to see what I find locally first. But I found one on Dressilyme that I love so I am curious to see how other bees’ dresses turn out and what they look like on them and if they were satisfied. So I hope you post them when u get it. And I hope other bees who ordered through dressilyme post theirs as well.

@missandie- Hopefully you get your dress pics soon ๐Ÿ™‚  I was feeling the exact same before I got my pics!  I’m not sure if you found this link on Dressilyme, but it shows some of the dresses they have made… it helped me get by (just a little) until I got MY dress pics :).

@talljabride- I got my dress in the mail today and I couldn’t be happier.  The dress they made for me is really high quaility.  I went looking for every review and picture I could find before deciding on Dressilyme.  They were awesome to work with and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Hi!

i just receive the photos of my dress from dressilyme! They were very fast with the tailoring. It took 14 days for them to complete the dress and now they are doing some minor alterations for me!

Maybe I will just share my ordering process with all of you.

hope it helps those who have not gotten their dresses.

I sent them pictures of the dress I wanted and did quite a few email exchanges.

i asked them specific questions like…

1) will the dress have 90% resemblance to the pictures I sent them?

2) materials used.

3) how many layers to make the skirt? (I wanted the pouffy effect)

4) can they send me pictures upon completion?

when I receive the pictures, I scrutinize the details and made a few requests for alterations.

1) cover up the ends of the feathers at the bust area as they are sticking out from the tulle.

2) change the zip to an invisible zip if possible.

have a clear idea of what yexpectations communicate with them before ordering.

@key.chua.3:  OMG!!! This is absolutely breath taking. I love the feather details and the poofyness of the skirt…. I also want to order from Dressilyme. I’ve sent them a picture and i’m waiting for a reply.

wow. that’s gorgeous! And that may be one of the two dresses I’m dithering between!

Can I ask; how many layers of tulle is there? My dressmaker says they’re doing the dress with two, however I’m playing with the idea of adding more…
