    I was having a hard time deciding how much Alcohol I would need to order ahead of time throught the cater. I found a few sites. Maybe you'll find it useful. It was about dead on to what the Cater told me I would need.

    Thanks so much!!!  I just posted about this, I will say I think it's a good tool but I know as far as wine, I don't have big wine drinkers, so I'll use my judgement on that number.

    @mrstobeeisme:

    We have huge wine drinkers. As in his immediate family last year at Christmas 20 (legal drinkers) went through 2.5 cases on xmas eve. So we ordered lots extra!!

    Interesting! My *possible* venue gives us the option to bring in our own liquor & we weren't sure what we'd need & what would be more cost effective. In Canada a case of beer is $45, but the venue charges $5.50 a beer... however the corkage fee is $7.50 pp. Atleast now we can get a good idea of what we're looking at spending!

    Thanks a bunch for sharing!

    Yeah, these calculators definitely go overboard.  I can't tell you how many 2L bottles of mix we had left over.

    Does anyone else notice that these two calculators both give EXTREMELY different results?
