i am making myself lose my mind. it seems to have consumed my every free minute, and i am stressing out about it. is this ridiculous?
my theme is a new england shoreline wedding and my wedding is in september. below is my inspiration board:
so with this being said, below are the current colors for the bridesmaid dresses and maid of honor. my Maid/Matron of Honor is going to be in the “ink” color (the navy-ish one on the left) and the bridesmaids in the “slate” color – all of the dresses are lulakate and i let the girls pick whatever style they wanted, so they could be comfortable. the color in the middle looks pink but it’s really off-white and that is the plan for the sash color, at the moment.
here are my issues, i hope you can provide some opinions to help me:
1 – is the ink color too much of a contrast for the maid of honor?
2 – should i have all the girls in the slate color instead, and give the Maid/Matron of Honor a different colored sash?
3 – if i go with a different color sash, what would look good – pink?
thank you all for any and all advice/feedback you might have!

I think the colors look great! I personally love the slate. As far as the Maid/Matron of Honor being a diff color, I think that’s totally dependent on your relationship with her. I didn’t get a diff dress for my Maid/Matron of Honor bc I feel like all my BMs are the same level of closeness to me. I picked my Maid/Matron of Honor mostly bc she was the most convenient one to be Maid/Matron of Honor (for a variety of reasons), not because she was my closest friend. If your Maid/Matron of Honor is someone truly special that you want to recognize publically, I would say go for the diff color dress.
If you decide to do a diff color sash with a navy dress, I think blush pink is a good option and stays in your color scheme.

I think it is great the way you have it. I love having the mix of colors on the girls. I tried to do this but it just didn’t happen and ended up with all of them in one color and had the flowergirl be my different color.
Don’t stress too much I think you have a plan and just take your time finding other items that flow well with the colors.

I love it all together, and honestly, I think pink or off white would go! I think it’s supercute that you picked lulakate, they’re from my hometown! 🙂

yay thank you girls!! i am seriously stressing about this, its almost funny, like really, i am worried about colors like this!! i am just worried the ink might be too extreme against the slate color.
my dress is an ivory color and i’m thinking for my something blue, i might do this:
what about for the flower girls? my first thought is the pink, but it might be too intense against everyone else. otherwise, i’d do the 2nd option with a light pink sash?
again thank you so much for your feedback.

I don’t think the pink flowergirl dress would be too much – the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are more neutral colors so the pink would go well. I think that dress is adorable!
