It seems like there would be a huge difference in price between the two?

Are you paying the difference to upgrade to the 1.2?

Personally I was a fan of the larger one on your last post. I loved it’s chunky cut. I don’t love the .94 you have now, honestly.

I would not like a D color diamond with strong blue fluorescence. I’ve seen an E with SBF and in bright sunlight it really did look light blue and to me, it didn’t look real.

Then again, I have an N color diamond, so I am color sensitive in the opposite direction. Still, I don’t think you want a D with SBF as that goes beyond white and into the “appears blue and glassy” range to me.

@Heidibrooke:  With specs like those, I’m choosing the larger one since it’s bigger.  I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but if you can go bigger, why not?? 🙂

Get the bigger stone, the shape is better IMO. Then stop looking! lol you will have a beautiful ring no matter what 🙂 You have good taste

I’m leaning towards the bigger stone… I chose the smaller one last time because I felt the other one was too warm.

The bigger stone this time seems to be “fatter” as well, which I like. The .94 is perfect except for being a little too skinny IMO. I still like it, though… it is soo sparkly!!

go with the bigger one if you love it! also, i see no problem in returning the oval you currently have being that it is already mounted.  my jeweler will be giving us 100% of the diamond cost back when we upgrade mine in a few months- in fact my jeweler just had it and said even after 8 months it is still in perfect condition so she sees no problem with getting the full price back for the upgrade.

I do agree that the proportions are better on this one, I don’t like skinny marquise-ish ovals, I like chubby roundish ovals.
