Australia seems an expensive place to buy a wedding dress.

Ok I am having a really hard time deciding on whether to wear a drop veil or a birdcage veil, This is my dress, what do you think?

(The drop veil is in third window of 3rd pic prob pretty obvious but just in case)

I'm so bad at these questions LOL! Which is why I still haven't decided for myself! I'm going to say the drop veil. Only because your dress is so flowy, and the drop veil would be flowy right along with it. But I think a birdcage would be pretty too! Yep, I'm no help hehe

oh gosh you're totally having the same question as i will one day... personally i think i'll wear the drop veil for the ceremony and the bird cage for the reception.

With that dress I'd say neither is right.  I think how they have it in the photo looks best - with just a hair flower.  To me a veil wouldn't look right with all that you have going on already with the neckline of the dress.  Stick with the theme of the feathers of the neckline and use a hair flower with feathers.  If you really want a veil I think the birdcage would fit that dress better than the drop veil.

Depends on your concept for the ceremony and reception!  I went to a wedding 3 months before my own and saw the bride's veil get caught on the ground.  Someone had to help untangle her veil! That is when I made up my mind that since I was getting married outside - I would do a no fuss, angled birdcage veil (cheekbone to jawbone).  I could kiss my husband and not worry about lifting the veil, but it still added "something" to the ceremony experience.  Also, I had a feather and jewel comb that added some flare! ;-)  Honestly, I think it all depends on where you ceremony is and what "look" you are going for!  Good luck!

drop veil. i don't think that a birdcage veil really matches the style of the gown.
