I bought the tresemme hair fresh and thought it sucked. My hair straightener changed my life this stuff was just icky. Maybe if you go with a better brand like Ojon or Frederic Fekkai you will have different results.

My understanding is that dry shampoo is pretty much cornstarch and scent, so I make my own and it works quite well. Baby powder brushed in using a toothbrush works really well too.

@MissHelen: I agree with the baby powder. Works way better than the stuff I bought.

I tried using baby powder once and I really didn’t like it.

I have a friend that swears by the products on http://www.lush.ca

I have yet to try any of them, but I plan to!

@kitzy: jealous! I was really hoping to like it (and use it for the same purpose) but it left my hair sticky and smelly 🙁 Do you use the one for straight hair or curly?

Ive used it before and I really liked it.

Its perfect for after the gym if you dont have time to wash your hair it also works great for those mornings  you are just too tired to wash and dry your hair.

I really like Umberto Dry Clean Dry Shampoo from target.  It is about 9 bucks but it works really well.

I use Tresemme. I used to use Ojon but twice had the bottles stop working with a decent amount of product still left (and it’s more expensive).

The key is to use it only if you have light hair. Also spray it on from a decent distance and DON’T TOUCH it for about 3-5 minutes, then fluff or brush your hair. If you do it too soon it gets clumpy. I usually spray it then put on some makeup then come back to my hair.

I love it! I stick to the ‘Pssst’ brand. It’s cheap, smells great, and it’s been around for years!

I love using it, but I only was able to get a couple of cans when I went to England last year, so I save it for “special occasions”. I wish I could buy it in Canada

I think she meant color, I have black hair and I have to keep combing through it to make it less noticable.
