Hello Iowa Brides!

Any of you familiar with Dubuque venues? I really want my Illinois guests to experience the beauty of the rolling hills of Iowa without spending thousands of dollars. I'm not from the area (I've only lived here a year) and I really want a rustic wedding to showcase our laid back easy going personalities. But I am having NO LUCK at all finding a location.

Any ideas girls!?!?!?!

P.S. I'm a new BEE, so HELLOOOOO!!!

Did you find a venue yet? Was just strolling through the Iowa boards and saw this (I joined in September)...

I'm getting married at Tabor Home Winery next August, which is about an hour southwest of Dubuque and showecases the gorgeous hills and vineyards (and was only $300!)

I would also look into Park Farm Winery in Bankston, a little closer to Dubuque but also gorgeous hill views, quite a bit more as far as cost though.
