HELL YEA. Watching now. I literally watch every siiiiiiiiiiiiiingle musical/talent/competition show that exists. I'm not a huge fan of the second part of the voice but I love love love how they cant see the singers in the first rounds. It's awesome.
Yes! This is actually the first time I've ever seen this show. There are some very talented people on here!
@MissTX: and @Brielle: This is the first time I've actually watched it. It's mostly on because we never changed the channel after the Superbowl. I'm just in awe. I'm such a dork. FI was like "oh jeeze. Another show I'm going to have to watch because of Juliet". Hahah.
@MissPumpkinPie: agree, 100%!!!! I never watch these shows but was watching the Super Bowl...wow she was AMAZING!

I have no idea what show you are talking about but just wanted to say I appreciate your use of Dudes. My friends cringe at my inability to refrain from extreme overuse of dude in all its variations.
We DVR'ed it last night, so we'll try to catch up tonight. I watched last season and loved it! Luckily, I got my husband hooked, too. :)
i was sleeping over my sister's so i had no other choice but to watch it but i loved it
I have not seen the US version but I watched several episodes of the German version and was also surprised at how many of the contestants already had worked as professional musicians. There were at least two who had previously worked with one of the judges and both times, the judge recongnized their voice and chose them. I also saw one girl who had previously made an album as part of a girl group get beat by a novice so I guess it does not automatically give an advantage.

This lady (Juliet Simms) is on it. She was in the band Automatic LoveLetter which one of my favorites. I've done a ton of photographs for and interviewed her on Warped Tour. I am shocked she's on the show. Her voice is amazing. Very awesome. One of my best friends was with me when I took the picture. The best part is that I heard a preview of her singing and automatically thought about how she sounded like herself. Just didn't realize it WAS her. I'm so excited for her.
ETA: I'm shocked she's on the show since she's already a published artist. I have been listening to her band since 2007. I do support her on the show though. I'm sure a lot of people think it's unfair.
