I have!! It is a mess. Luckily the dryer took care of most of it and a lint roller took care of the rest.
Ugh. Yes. My FI leaves stuff in his pockets all the time, and I never remember to check when I throw some of his stuff in w/ mine. It makes me regret trying to be nice by doing his laundry :)
At least it wasn't a lipstick or crayon. Tissue fuzz is much easier to remove.
I once washed a ballpoint pen in a load of laundry that contained every single set of scrubs that I had to wear for work. That sucked.
Oh man, Charm Bracelet and Redherring, you're right--it could have been much worse than tissue fuzz! Good call!
Jessie, I've done that, and also with CHAPSTICK! I cried when I took my clothes out and they were full of pink greasy spots. I hand scrubbed every single thing in the washer and it took me HOURS, but thankfully I was able to get all the stains out because I worked as quickly as I could.
Oh and today, I was taking a picture of the hubby when he got home from work and I went to go erase one of the ones that didn't turn out as well and I erased ALL the pictures off my camera! :( I was like, "OMG, HOW DO YOU UNDO!?!?!" Then, I cried because I can't replace my pictures and I hadn't saved any of them or the videos from my camera to my computer. There went all my stuff from the holidays...

I totally did this last week, but somehow most of the kleenex was inside my clothes, so I didn't even know. When I put it in the dryer it took care of it!! I had pieces inside clothes when putting them on for a bit, but that was it.
I have done this many times (and the chapstick too...). I've tried everything to correct the problem (rewashing, etc. ) but always takes a week of lint-rolling. If it makes you feel better, Mr. Snow has washed and dried his cell phone twice (it still worked!) and the TV remote once (worked also!)
Laylabelle- YES! Ugh, it was the remote tied to our DVR/Digital cable box too (ie not ours...) so I was dreading an embarrassing "Hi..we washed and dried this. We need to purchase another..." walk-of-cable-shame....but those suckers are tough!
@snow --oh no! I can't believe Mr. S waashed and dried his phone...TWO TIMES. :)
Lol! "walk of cable shame"! Good to know, sounds like something I would do (I walk around with it in my robe. Yup, I'm Al Bundy.)

My brother always takes his cellphones and ipods for a swim, that´s just his thing! he has done it on Miami, the Bahamas and all over the world! They don´t keep working, tho

I'm trying to catch up on a huge pile of laundry because I've been sick/busy this week. I'm also getting over a crappy cold. I just did a huge load of laundry and when I opened up the washer to transfer it to the dryer. The machine and clothes were covered in white fuzzy junk. Yep, I washed a Kleenex in my pocket! UGH. What a total mess. I'm going to be picking fuzz off my clothes all week.
So I don't feel so bad, has anyone else ever done this?
