Yes, they will still have to pay for shipping. Bummer! But if you have your heart set on the places you're already registering, go for that. You can always make Macy's an additional option :)
I agree, I'd add Macy's as an easier option for guests, but also leave the stores you've registered at already. That way people can choose where they want to get stuff from. :)
I ended up just going with amazon. A lot of things have free shipping. With myregistry. Com you can sync all of your registrys together and add a button to your tool bar so you can add anything from any site. I figured if I find anything else I can add it then they can choose?

I started to set up a registry at a few stores where I'm from, but we don't have the stores on Kauai. Shipping is very expensive to Hawaii.
My question is, will they have to pay for shipping since we don't have the stores? Or should I just do it at Macy's since that's pretty much all we have?
