Weddingbee boards

This recap is a little bit about what happened during our meal. I am skipping the cocktail hour because it was just guests visiting and having drinks and appetizers while we got some pictures taken.

The first seven pictures show our buffet, plated salad, and table set up, with a couple plates of food shown for good measure. Everyone loved loved loved the food :-)

The eighth picture is just an overview of the guests enjoying their meal.

The ninth picture is my hubby and I showing one of my aunties my hubbies blue socks that totally match my shoes :-)

Then a picture of us enjoying our meal. I didn't really get to eat. There was just to much going on.

Then my youngest son is presenting us with an unplanned toast. He is such a sweety :-)

Then my hubby and I are dancing to a song that my grandmother requested ( Forever And Forever/Perry Como/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXbThhmw91U ) She will be 98 in July, so she really can't travel anymore. Everyone was teary eyed and loved that we danced.

In the next picture, my grandson is trying his hardest to blow up a rocket balloon that I included in the Cracker Favors. He couldn't manage it by himself, so in the next picture, my youngest son is doing it for him and apparently something is very funny because the kids are cracking up.

Then the next four pictures are of our cake cutting fun.

And lastly, we are thanking our lovely guests for choosing to come to our wedding and letting them know that the candy/cookie bar is now open. That was a very big hit. And I will share some pictures in my next recap :-)

***The bee has been having issues losing pictures and commentary, so I will post the pictures in my next few comments.

Okay, this is the last picture for this recap. I sure hope the bee gets fixed soon. Posting one pciture at a time is not happy times :-/

We were; it was an extremely happily ever after day :-)

@PurpleUnicorn: lol, it is funny you should say that because the cake was/is wrong. The flowers were supposed to be pink garden roses and they looked more like carnations and the bottom layer did not have the correct filling and the green banding was wider than it should have been. I am glad you like it because I thought it looked horrible. You have made me feel much better about it. Thank you :-)

We thought the shape fit our theme better and with that shape, you actually get more pieces of cake for your money :-)
