My resort sent me a list of flowers I can choose from for my bouquet. I’m about a clueless as they come with flowers… and I need help choosing an assortment! They sent me some examples, but I wasn’t in love with any of them. I either want mostly white with pops of yellows/oranges/coral, OR a totally tropic and vibrant bouquet.
My options are.. (bolded ones are my favorite, but aren’t a must)
Bird of Paradise

@FutureMrsM87: Birds of Paradise are beautiful but aI wouldn’t think of them for a bouquet… They’re exotic but not delicate. Personally I’m a big fan of gerbera daisies and roses in combination. Can you do some googling to find a pic yo. Really like and send it to your resort to see if they can replicate it?

The carnations don’t really mesh with the birds of paradise and calla lilllies, in my opinion. I’d either go the soft pretty route with the carnations, roses and lisanthius together, or do something a bit more bold. Personally I’d go bold, but that’s me!
No idea what your taste is, but these are just a few I found on google with similar flowers.

@Toronto2014: I’ve tried googling but I don’t know exactly what I want! Haha. So unless the images have descriptions (which some do) I’m sort of lost on what exactly I’m looking at. Google is very useful though!
@Westwood: Oh my gosh.. ALL of those are SO gorgeous! I might just send those over to her and see what she says. Thank you!! Seeing these pictures makes me realize I want something bold and colorful!

@FutureMrsM87 I was the same way with my DW! I had the option of either selecting flowers from the list they had, or choosing a color theme and having the florist choose. I think it’s a much differnet process than in the States! I ended up sending them a few pictures of bouquets I liked online with the color choices – I don’t have my professional pics back yet, but here are a couple that kind of show what my flowers ended up looking like. I went the vibrant, tropical route. It looks like there were daisies, roses, and a lot of different lilies, etc.

Lisanthus are absolutely beautiful!! They come in a pretty vibrant purple or pink. Here is a picture I took a screenshot off, it’s probably going to be large. Whoopsies

@FutureMrsM87: What about something like this. It has white with pops of color. This is cala lillies, roses, and hydrangea (I don’t see it on your list but most florists can get it) if not you can substitute the hydrangea for carnations!
