Dyeable shoes? Yay or Nay?

posted 5 months ago in Beehive

So, I have it in my head that I'm going to wear yellow shoes for my wedding.  I'm thinking of going the dyeable route, but I'm totally clueless as to how this works. Do you dye them yourself? If not, where do you get them dyed? Has this route actually worked for people in the past? I don't even know what's out there...I live in Canada and dyeable shoes aren't really that big here. Clearly, I am in need of advice.

Thanks ladies!

I think you drop them off at the store and they dye it for you.

But, have you tried looking at the non-dyeable options?  endless.com, zappos, overstock, all let you search by color, and if you want yellow, you have lots of options with gold, champagne, beige, etc.

Some dyeable shoes do that look nice, but you know you will probably never wear those again!
