So as of now I am planning on going the DYI route when it comes to the bouquets, and have been looking at sites like wholeblossoms and fiftyflower – has anyone had any luck with buying flowers online? We dont seem to have any flower markets in our area (central florida) so that is why I am looking at online wholesale places, just am scared to order my flowers online!

I’m going to DIY my flowers, too, and have been looking at tons of online wholesalers. Fifty Flowers really does seem to have the best selection and they get great reviews. The post below has a lot of suggestions, as well:

I used to dmake bridal bouquets.
I always had great luck with Fifty Flowers. I’ve also had good experiences with Costco.
Just a tip: If you work during the day, have them delivered to your work address if possible or someone else who will be home on the delivery day. Flowers really don’t like being left outside, especially if it will be hot or cold that day.
Best of Luck.

Yea costco’s prices seem to be pretty reasonable – I’m jsut having a hard time finding peonies or garden roses at wholesale costs and not ending up with tons of them!

Theflowerexchange online has great prices on garden roses. They also have a large selection of colors. If you aren’t looking for a lot then they may not be helpful. I believe the smallest amount available is 6 dozen, but 6 dozen only costs $130.
