Did you try target? We put these on our roof and I just got a few more boxes yesterday as we didn't have enough this year. Good luck!
Have you looked online?

Do a google product search. There are dozens of sources.
Are you having a DJ at your wedding? A lot of the DJs we work with also do lighting design and can bring string lights with them.
If you are on a budget, try Big Lots. I don't usually shop there but they have a wonderful selection of garden lighting, including the strand lights you're looking for. I personally think most of the ones online are overpriced.
They have just begun to stock the spring items after christmas. I went today and they had TONS on the shelf. I got 10 packs that are each 25' long with 40 bulbs on each strand for $10 a box.
The globes I chose are plastic, and I wasn't sure if they would look as good, but they are perfect! You can't tell a difference when they're turned on. I'm actually glad they aren't glass after reading all the horror stories of broken lights and bloody fingers on the target website!
I bet you will have better luck now no matter where you go because stores will be stocking all of their outdoor stuff for spring. Just incase you want to try Big Lots, there are two just outside the Rochester area: http://www.biglots.com/store-locator
Good Luck!
My fiance and I are getting married on the exact same day, and are looking for the exact same lights!
After doing some digging online, we have turned to our local party rental company, who rents lights for parties/weddings/etc. Unless you want to invest in holiday lights for your house, renting lights can be a cheaper option.
Just wanted to wish you good luck, I am having a June wedding, and waited the day after christmas to grab the same lights on sale...I couldn't find ONE box, So after all the searching I gave up...I really really wanted them (would of needed 30+ boxes anyways).
I hope you can find some, If you have a facebook, write that uour looking for some on your status, maybe some of your friends have a couple strands laying around.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My fiance and I have been searching high and low for weeks now looking for the "vintage" or "old-fashioned" strings of C7 or C9 clear christmas lights for our 7/7/12 wedding.
Before, during and ever since the first holiday decorations went up for sale in nearby stores we have been scouring the shelves (and the internet) looking for what we want.
We found 6 strands. Total. In the entire Rochester, NY area.
We also put an ad on Craigslists, looked on ebay, and send out emails to family and friends begging them to look around for us.
The LED ones are common, but we don't want those - they're too bring and fake looking in our opinions.
I have been able to find oodles of websites that sell the strands by the (hundreds) of feet, but they don't have bulbs in them.
I never thought this would be so hard to find!!
Pretty pretty please - if any bees out there have lights they're willing to part with for a fair price, or know where I can really get some online, I would be so VERY appreciative!
Happy New Year!
