It’s very pretty! Where are you having your pictures done? I would do bright shoes/a belt/cardigan depending on the location.

Yeah you definitely want a colorful background, so that the photos don’t look washed out. What is your FI wearing?

I think it’s super pretty but a little on the short side for e-pics. I would definitely wear heels with it, something strappy like the model’s wearing, but the type of heels would depend on where you’re taking your pics. I brought a few pairs of different heels to wear to our e-session but it was outdoors so I ended up wearing boots the whole time to protect my legs against the scratchy grasses and plants.

@nemoandthebrain:  ok glad it’s not too short! because that is no good, esp in pics where you’re lying down! Lol.

If your FI wears a pink button down, it would look really cute to wear a skinny pink belt with the dress, with neutral-colored heels. I’m thinking something kind of strappy that still shows some skin (i.e. something fun and not too conservative, to match the mood of the dress) or maybe peep-toe pumps. How long is your e-sesh? Have you thought about wearing 2 different outfits? We had 2 outfit changes, and I’m really glad we did because I didn’t end up liking the way one of my outfits photographed. It looked a little too washed out. My fave pics are ones where we were both wearing bright colors – we “pop” a lot more.

I LOVE it! Cardigan would be my choice of accessory! It would be cute if it were bright like the confetti or whatever prop you decide to use! 🙂

@nemoandthebrain:  If you need to loosen up, do something fun together before the photo session. Ours was in the morning so I cooked breakfast, and then we listened to goofy 90’s songs on the drive there. Also, some of our pictures were of us playing basketball (FI’s favorite sport), so that definitely helped him loosen up. Could you toss around a football? And maybe start with that to get into a playful mood and losen things up? It would make for super cute photos!

Here’s a couple of our basketball photos:
