Ah! UofA? I went to undergrad there! My photographer friend and I did a photo shoot around the observatory many moons ago - such a picturesque place. Your shots will turn out fabulous, I'm sure! Can't wait to see them - the umbrella is a wonderful idea.
@ashlle - lol! No, actually, that's where we're in school now - grad school takes for-freaking-ever. :) I did my undergrad at Agnes Scott, in Atlanta, so we're taking pics there. But that's so cool that you did pics at the UofA's observatory - I'm assuming you were at Steward? I used to work there! It's like a small oasis of pretty in the middle of the campus. 
Here is the first pic I got back - my awesome photographer sent me this one so I could get STD's out faster! Isn't it cute?!?

Have fun! I know I we did! I thought it was going to be painful but my FI who is exceptionally shy had a blast! It is by far one of my best memories thus far. Post them once you get them back!

I'm just excited about this! I love love love having my picture taken, and love to goof off with the FI, so I think this will be so much fun. We're going to take them at my alma mater, which has a telescope/observatory, which is AWESOME, because we both studied astronomy, and it's involved in how we met. Also, it might rain, so I went out and found a cheapie rainbow umbrella from Target - now I almost hope that it pours so we get to use it! (Although I'll probably pull it out anyhow)
