I went from pave to claw set and I have a 3 stone ring. they might be able to just cut the band off and solder onto another band? Mine was completed melted down as I wanted to change the setting of the 3 stones as well. Just be wary of how a wedding ring would sit next to your ring, unless ycan plan on going down the curved band route 🙂

you woud have to get a new setting. Bring it to a jeweler for a quote, they can either extract your diamonds and place them in a new setting (only LARGE jewlers can do this however because smaller jewlers don’t make their own jewelery usually) or you can see if they will exchange your ring for a ring like you want (but beware they wil probably try to give you less money for your ring since its “used”, don’t be fooled, the price of dimaonds and the price of gold are what they are, no matter if you’ve worn them or not!)
