I was just reading this on the knot, it was saying to put it on your right hand during so that when you put it back on after the ceremony, your wedding band will be closer to your heart.
Just give your guy the game plan ahead of time, it caused a little confusion with someone I know... he went for the wrong hand cause he saw the e-ring!
I'm going to have my MOH wear it! :) This is an acceptable tradition too, if you don't want to feel like you're wearing the ring on the "wrong" finger, or confuse your man.
I'm with littlemissmango. My MOH will wear it on her right hand. My e-ring doesn't fit on my right hand :)
I put it on my right hand... and still wear it there to this day...
There's no band matching my e-ring; so I wear it on my right hand, and we got a set for my left hand.
I wanted to put it on my right hand but it didn't fit. I guess my right hand is a half size bigger. I ended up having a bridesmaid wear it and give it back to me after the ceremony.
I wore mine on my left (doesn't fit my right, plus my something blue was there).
I hadn't really thought about it, but I figured my e-ring would be on my left finger as usual and I'd just switch them after the ceremony. I can't imagine NOT wearing it, LOL!
huh. well. i had never even pondered this!!!!!!!!
(and i thought i had thought of EVERYthing!) :)
right hand, and then switch it over after the ceremony and put something fun on my right!
Im getting my rings fused before the ceremony! Wearing a fake CZ the week before...
my sister was wearing a right-hand ring as well on her wedding day so she just wore he e-ring on her left hand and then switched the order wrong after the ceremony.
I'm planning on wearing it in its usual position on my left hand. I've tried switching it over to my right and it just feels all wrong - really weird between my fingers. I'm having two wedding bands made to sit on either side of my unusually shaped E-ring so I'm going to wear one band and my E-ring already on my hand and the fella will just put the last band on. Plus, then I don't have to worry about trying to subtley change my rings over.
I'll just wear it on my left and pull a switcheroo later. I'll be wearing my garnet on my right hand.
I had intended to have my wedding band soldered to my ering the week before the wedding like RxBrideToBe.
I'm going to wear it on my right hand throughout the ceremony, then switch it to my left with the WB en route to the reception.
I'm going to give it to the BM so that my FI puts both of them on my finger at the same time.
im having two bands on either side of my e-ring so we are going to get them soldered together right before the wedding day and he will put the ring on my finger as a whole. I just won't be able to wear my ring after its soldered together until the wedding day!! yikes thats going to be hard!!
I pulled it off beforehand and wedged it halfway down onto my middle finger, and then put it on top of my wedding band immediately after my husband put my wedding band on.
It was too small to fit onto my right ring finger comfortably, and I didn't want it to get stuck during the ring exchange.
