You can still use fall colors if you want, but it may be smart to incorporate it. I don't think its faux paux or anything. lol
I mean, I'm getting married in February on the beach and my colors are pastel green, aqua blue, white, and tan. Hardly Feb. colors lol
I'd pick the colors that symbolize you! IMO
Your wedding is a "season" unto itself. Use the colors you like best. But if getting married in a church make sure that the decorations they have in the chapel are easily removable so you can decorate for your wedding.
I'm a December bride too and I vote "winter" colors. Depending on where you're having the ceremony and reception, some of the sites may already be decorated for the holidays, which can save some $$ on decor.
I would say I tend to like "winter" colors better, but if I were you I might choose the colors that go best with the venue. Definitely find out if they decorate for Christmas as well, and when they do it.
I'm a January bride, and went with winter colors! I LOVE my color choice of claret (like burgundy), black and ivory. But it all depends on the feeling of your wedding and what colors you like.
I really think you could use either one. A lot of people think of Dec and use winter colors but honestly I wouldn't think anything was off if I came and you used fall colors. It's your wedding so use whichever you want!
I vote "winter" colors. My colors are cranberry, chocolate, and Ivory. I am also getting married in PA, where it is definitely winter. I think it depends where you are and what the weather is like. Someone getting married on the beach in December probably won't have "winter" colors.
I would say if you are on a strict budget then go with winter colors because after christmas everyting goes on sale and there is alot of things that you can get that will work for yur wedding and not look christmas

I am getting married December 10th 2011. I love fall and winter themes, I am so torn between what colors to pick, is it ok to use fall colors...or could i mix these? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
