I’m at CD11 and this morning I got a solid smiley face on my Clear Blue Digital signifying my peak day. I didn’t get any high fertility day warnings the day or two before. I’m so confused because my usual ovulation days the past few months have been CD14-16… but my period seems to be getting shorter. (26 days instead of 30) CD11 seems super early.
I woke up at 4am for a quick pee, but then got up at 7:45am and officially peed on the stick. Could this have given me a faulty peak reading? It says on the instructions first pee after longest sleep, which was techinically 4am. Please let me know your thoughts!

It’s possible that you’re ovulating early, but it could also mean it’s a surge. Do you temp as well? Temp spike would confirm. I have had this happen to me once or twice (I’ve been using OPKs and temping for 6 cycles now). Typically I surged CD10-CD12 and then again CD20-CD22. I was able to confirm the actual O with temp spike CD20-CD22. I would suggest BDing as much as you can and continue testing with OPKs for a few more days. Good luck!!

Ovulation tests just indicate a surge, and not actual ovulation. So, you could be ovulating early (it’s happened to me, and I have super predictable cycles!) or it could mean your body is gearing up to ovulate, but may not actually be ovulating at this point.I would BD lots, but also keep using OPK’s to ensure you ovulated.
For what it’s worth, I used OPK’s with this pregnancy… I got a BLARING positive OPK, at CD 12, but didn’t actually ovulate until CD 14 (confirmed by charting/temping).

Thanks ladies! It’s so strange how my cycles seem to be getting shorter. Stress I assume!
I did have a lot of watery CM yesterday and I had a temp dip this morning – so I might have ovulated! 🙂 We’ll see if I see a spike that holds the next 3 days

I always ovulate on CD14-15, but last month I got my positive opk on CD10 and ovulated on CD11. I had just started taking B6 that month, which supposedly lengthens your luteal phase, but can also make you ovulate earlier (from what I’ve read, anyway). I also got a BFP that cycle!
