Hey ladies! My DH and I are TTC and was just wondering what your experience is/was with your earliest physical signs of pregnancy and how many days after conception you experienced those symptoms? Thanks!

A few days before my missed period I noticed symptoms – moody (like I could fly off the handle at any little annoyance), all day cramps that were different from period cramps, and my nipples were constantly hard. All very odd things for me. I just knew I was pregnant.

@kappasweetiepie: FOR ME THE FIRST SIGN WAS MY BREAST THEY WERE SO SORE, AND ALSO I KEPT GETTING CRAMPS LIKE I WAS GOING TO GET MY PERIOD BUT NEVER DID. ALSO FELT VERY SLEEPY ALL THE TIME, AND GOT HUNGRY MORE FREQUENT THAN USUAL. THANK GOD I’M NOT THE MORNING SICKNESS TYPE!

About 5 days before my missed period I was very tired, hungry (for chicken and ice cream), and had some headaches with very light nausea. I tested a few days before my period, and I was pregnant. I got blood drawn to confirm it, and now I am 4 weeks, and the nausea has set in as well as sore breasts, but nothing much.

@megz06: Just wanted to say congrats! 😀

I had normal PMS symptoms. I didn’t get the overwhelming fatigue or any queasiness until after about 8 weeks. I was a little bloated though.

@kappasweetiepie: My boobs were swollen and tender. I also experienced a lot of fatigue, like falling asleep on the couch after work.

Thanks ladies! I know everyone is completely different, and also know that it’s entirely possible to misinterpret physical symptoms while TTC (out of excitement, of course!) but I’m just feeling abnormally nauseous and sensitive to food and smells. Of course, I also am a migraine sufferer so it could be that, I’ve just heard of similar symptoms after conception. I should know in about a week and a half! Fingers crossed…

No symptoms here, so just want to comment in case it’s the same for you. It doesn’t mean you are not pregnant, as I was looking for all the common symptoms and convinced I was not pregnant b/c I had none. I’ve also had a very, very easy pregnancy so far (about 20 weeks to date) – no morning sickness, not really any cramping or sore boobs, etc. so maybe it was an indication of how the pregnancy was going to go. I got a + 6 days before missed period with a FRER.

no symptoms. i had a nightmare about pregnancy that i dont care to share it was very sad… and i took a test just to reasure myself because i was distraught in the morning, though was not TTC and did not think i was pregnant despite a late period… and BFP. Everyone is so different though dont look into the symptoms too much. you could also trick yourself into thinking you have them. I think most ladies will start testing around 10 DPO.. taking a test is going to be your best measurement.

I had almost normal PMS symptoms except I was not craving chocolate at all, which was the normal case when I was about to start. I was hoping to be prego so I tested 3 days before my period was due and got a BFN then I tested again the morning my period was due and I got a BFP. Very faint but it was there!

I was a bit bloated and had some period-like cramping at 12 DPO. Took a test at 15 DPO and it was positive. No other symptoms for a couple of weeks.

Right around conception and for a few days after I had my typical pms super sore boobs, but then they WENT AWAY and they don’t usually do that until my period shows up and has been there for a few days. That was the first thing that was odd to me. Then, light cramping like normal pms, but it kept going and going and no period was showing up. I was also super emotional for a few days before I found out and nauseous the day I tested. I found out at 3 weeks 6 days in the evening, brightest line I’ve ever seen!

A few days before my missed period. I had worst cramps than I usually do, I was really bloated, and my boobs hurt. It almost felt like I was going to start my period but my regular period symptoms were amplified.
