I am so sorry, I know how horrible it is to wait. I had a similar experience and it ended up being a blighted ovum. I went for a 7 0r 8 week check up and all we saw was a sac. However, your numbers seem to be doubling mine didn’t, they were going up but were not doubling. So just keep it in prayer. you never know, everything could be perfectly fine.

No, I didn’t miscarry on my own. My doctor scheduled me for a D&C the very next day. ITA i was young when this happened, I remember my mom telling me at the time to not worry because what was mine was mine, and the lord would give it back to me and he did,I went on to have another pregnancy where i had a beautiful healthy baby girl.

@LuluH:  aww I’m sorry you are in limbo & waiting. you really could have just ovulated late making your dates off & it’s really too early to see anything..especially a heartbeat. The good thing is that your HCG numbers are doubling which is a great sign! Did they schedule you another ultrasound in two weeks?

I had a blighted ovum in February & my HCG numbers never doubled. They rose, but did not double. I didn’t need a D&C as I miscarried naturally.

As hard as it is not to worry, the best predictor is another ultrasound in two weeks. It really seems like you ovulated later than you thought making you earlier than you think you are. Good luck & hugs!

@LuluH:  I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope some bees who have experience either way will have some good advice for you on which option to choose, I know it must be a really hard decision to make because you don’t want to do either, you want a healthy pregnancy. Good luck with whatever choice you make, and lots of sticky baby dust for next time.

I’m so SO sorry Lulu! 🙁 I really wish I could give you a big real life hug, I can’t imagine how you’re feeling. I hate to ask this, because I agree with you that it doesn’t seem to make sense that you’d have gotten a BFP so early if you were only now 4 weeks along, but is the doctor sure you shouldn’t wait another 2 weeks for another ultrasound in case you did in fact ovulate late? :/

Again, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. 🙁
