- Wedding: April 2012
Hello fellow wedding bee’s,
So sorry guys this might be a long one, but I am getting married in Vietnam with my Fiance we have been together almost 6 years. We were travelling and ended up staying when we found work. One of our Vietnamese friends last year suggested we get married here, we both thoughy why not Fun,exciting and different so we both agreed. Our friends and family are so excited to come see us and celebrate with us.
It has been a massive hassle to say the least, everything is very slow to organise we have 7 weeks to go and although we have sent our invites out already of venues. Until today we never had a time for the Cathedral because initially we wanted a 2pm wedding which the Priest changed to 3pm. We both thought this was too late as we have hired a beautiful out door place for the wedding reception so by the time we get married have pics it would be dark 5-6pm it gets dark here at 6pm. So we have been waiting weeks for an earlier time I thought 11 or 12. It is now 10am !!!!! It has been changed so many times and now we just want to stick with this as we do not want to wait another week or so to see if they can do later.
I am both relieved now we can just start doing final preps like confirming times for caterer’s, bands, music etc. But am also worried about getting ready in the morning. I really hate getting up I have estimated I will have to get up at 5am !!!! Then start my hair and make-up at atleast 6am, I need to now find 1. a salon that will open that early or 2., a stylist/beautician that will come to the hotel. I am trying to see the good sides but I am proper stressing what does everyone think ?
