Why not just do diamond (or CZ depending on budget) studs? I think it would look classy and understated. If they were princess cut, it might match even better, but not necessary I think.
That is a good idea. I'm just afraid if I choose the wrong style, I'll look thrown together. I did find two pairs of earrings on annabellagio.com (why did i not look there before? GORGEOUS):
However, the blue earrings don't seem to be the same shade, which in the grand scheme of things might not matter, but it would probably drive me crazy!
I like the crystal ones because I think they mimic the style of the pendant I am wearing (which, by the way, does not have the huge metal part on the top - it is just the topaz and the diamonds and then the chain, no connecting piece....I just noticed that in the photo).
I would love to get some opinions on this! It's my latest obsession, lol...

Hi there! Beautiful necklace! I think that some emerald cut cubic zirconia studs (or diamonds if your budget allows!) would be the best choice. Anything that dangles or is too flashy will take away from the necklace- it's kinda like the idea that if you wear bright lipstick, you shouldn't wear bright eyeliner and shadow. ya know?

My FH bought me a gorgeous blue topaz ring and necklace to be my "something blue" for our wedding day. Trouble is, now I don't know what to do about earrings! The necklace is an emerald-cut pendant with diamond accents on the top. I would love to find some drop earrings with both diamonds (or fake diamonds!) and blue topaz to pull in the look of engagement ring as well as the blue jewelry. I've googled and searched through a ton of jewelry websites can't seem to decide on what would look good. A picture of the necklace is below. Anyone have any helpful hints or had a similar problem themself? What did you do?
