The easiest thing for me was deciding on my venue, my choice of bridesmaids and the tuxes.

The hardest thing by far were the centerpieces, the invitations and the bridesmaid dresses.

Easiest:  Reception venues (Legal Sea Foods in the Boston area; private club owned by a friend for the DC at-home reception), attendants (my two children), rings (NotFroofy had one she inherited from her grandmother and gave me, and I got her a matching one), reception musician (a professional musician we both know and love)

Hardest:  Ketubah (formal Jewish wedding contract).  We couldn’t find one we liked that had language that would work for two women.  After searching for months, we finally decided to get the artwork we wanted, and pay extra for a custom text.  Wedding dresses were also a challenge, as we needed matching ones.

Easiest – venue (as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one), dress (third one I tried on, and I bought the floor sample same day), caterer (interviewed two, picked one).

Hardest – photographer!

The only thing that has been hard so far is the wording for the invites, I’m having major headaches with this.

Everything else we have done has been pretty easy but the easies of the easy was the Church.

Easiest: dress, flowers, shoes, BM dresses, DJ (our friend’s dj was A-mazing at their wedding, so we chose him)

Hardest: photographer, venue, cake, FOOD (because we just had our tasting and it was terrible!)
