Jill Promoli (http://www.jillpromoli.com/) who is a dear friend of mine (we also went to school together) does amazing work, if I do say so, myself. Her basic package for $1900 includes:
full day coverage, unlimited locations, and high resolution edited files in both colour and black and white (including full printing and sharing rights).
We booked with Blue Six Creative (www.bluesixcreative.com) My photographer is Brett. Provided two photographers and I get the disk of the images for me to print and he gave me a great deal on albums.
I also liked Impuse Photo (www.impusephoto.com) and Rowell Photographer from Barrie who travels. Many Toronto photographers will travel at no charge so why limit yourself to a photographer from the area of where you are getting married. I also really liked Jeremy Clay but he raised his pricing.

I'm wondering if there are any Bees from the east GTA/Durham Region who have found a great photographer for a reasonable price!
Also, it's a long shot, but I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who have used/know someone who has used Treasured Xpressions Photography (http://www.treasuredxpressions.ca/) for their big day! The difficulty that I am having with them is that I love half of their online gallery, and I hate the second half! But they don't remember who shot at which wedding! Has anyone out there had any experience with this company?
