I personally love the food at East Ocean Seafood Restaurant!  East Ocean has been the venue for a lot of important occasions in my family for the past fifteen years.  The food is always fantastic, service was nothing to brag about, but the one thing that I have beef with is the restrooms!  There is always a long line, it doesn’t smell pleasant, and a few hours into the night it was messy in there.  Maybe you can ask them to clean the bathroom midway through your reception?

I went to a wedding here a couple weeks ago.  I think the place fit 300ish guests.  The food was pretty good.  And it’s pretty with the waterfront views.

I’ve only been here for regular dimsum, but it was sooooo good (and FH and I go out to dimsum like no tomorrow).  My friend is having her rehearsal dinner there; I know it’s going to be delicious!  And the waterfront view is really nice.

I went to my cousins wedding here about 2 years ago. She rented one of the side rooms, which fit about 10 tables (100 people). The food was good and the service was fine. It’s a very lovely location and there’s a parking lot for your guests. I was thinking about doing my wedding banquet there as well, but decided to have an American wedding instead. I had a positive experience here as a guest. I believe it was $500 per table and we had all the expensive stuff on the menu like shark fin, abalone, etc.

I like the East Ocean Restaurant but I went there as a guest for a wedding and it was crowded! There were like 2-3 weddings going on simultaneously, therefore it wasn’t very intimate and you can here the festivities going on in the banquet room next to you. The food was good, but frankly I like going there for dim sum on my own, not for a banquet.
