@July: I made my programs with cardstock, large curvy craft sticks, ribbon and a corner punch...it created a fan. Everyone loved and used them since it was a bit warm at my outdoor wedding! I only have a pic of the front, but the back had the wedding party listed, a "thank you" to our parents & guests and our address. It was so simple!

@Tonya2010: thanks! do you have a template in word for how you set up the font, etc??
@July: I didn't use a template. I used Albemarle Swash font (had to download it from a free font site) and created the document on Word. I used 8 1/2x11 cardstock paper and printed it in landscape. I set my margins so that it created 2 pages (a front and back page) so that I could fold it half, glue the craft stick to the inside back paper and then glue both sides of the paper around the craft stick. Hope this make sense. Let me know if you have any questions. Here is my layout (of course it is a bit jacked up since I copy and pasted):

i've been combing blogs and internet searches for some time and have had pretty poor luck finding good templates for menus or programs. Looking for something easy to use and easy to customize. I find Martha Stewart's difficult to work with especially becuase they're not in word. I dont know exactly what style i'm looking for at this point, open to all suggestions!
