Holy s**t that is unbelievable!!  I actually “guffawed” when I read that response.

I’m not yet engaged but I’m dreading this situation already!

That’s awful!  I cannot believe someone would have the nerve.  All I can say is good luck, I’d be having your mom call to tell her it is quite inappropriate.

I had the same happen to me! The invitation was addressed to Ms.*** and Guest .

We had yet to hear from her so my mother emailed her to get her response. She apologized prefusely that she hadnt yet answered because she was just waiting on her daughters. Yes daughterS….and they’re DATES!

She asumed that she could invite her 3 daughters and their 3 boyfriends AND her own guest… so that would have made 8 people from an invitation for 2 .

SIGH…

Fortunateoy my mom emailed back and put the kibosh on that…

I dont understand people…..

Excuse me while I bellow to the sky…

WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS??

Seriously, why? It would never occur to me to do this so I really don’t get it. Okay, rant over.

Did you call her? I hope so.

Uh, what?  We might be bringing 5 guests?  Who are they bringing along, the partridge family?  5 guests???  Insane.  I’m sure a call to mom would be warranted by that one.

Wow! Thats just crazy. We were really fortunate in that we just had to contact people, no crazy responses.
