I just placed my order with them, through Etsy. We’ll see how the dress comes up.

I will track my experience here.

Hey, so I’m just ordered from them a few months ago too. I’m curious to know also?

Mmmm… right… I placed my order in march.. it was supposed to be ready the end of July and still no photos nor a date of when it will be ready… I have lost all faith in this vendor.

artistInResidence:  oh no! I’m suppose to receive my dress this month but have not heard from them either. The communication was great at the start and has dwindled.. Did you pay a down payment too?

artistInResidence:  So, I heard back from the company and they assured me everything is getting done. 🙂 Amanda explained its a the middle of the busy season so, they are running a little behind but will have it done it time. I feel better about everything now. I hope the same for you too.

I hate doing this, but I need to chip in. I ordered a dress from Hera Vintage Co and had pleasant conversations with Amanda….for the first couple of weeks, but then she started replying late to a point where I got worried not having my dress ready.

AND IT WAS TRUE, she did not have my dress ready in time, regardless the fact that I had already told her my wedding date.

What makes me upset is, she did not even tell me that she failed to finish my dress until I bothered her with gazillion emails asking about the status of my dress-progress. In the end I had to find another dress 3 weeks before my wedding day.

Amanda did apologize and offered me a full refund or if there’s another dress I’d like to make from her. I was already upset, and said NO I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK… but until now she hasn’t refunded me, or replied to my email.

So the moral of the story is: NO. Don’t order from Hera Vintage Co on Ebay or Hera Dress Company (she opened an Etsy store).

Please…save yourself from the headache and trouble, and go with more reputable sellers.
