It really depends. Sometimes on eBay, you can get a steal. I got a $150 tiara for $80. However, there are those idiots who don’t know how to bid so they can run you up. On etsy, a lot of the items are made by hand. They are beautiful, but can definitely be more expensive sometimes.

I use both but have noticed that even in the ebay store section stuff is generally cheaper so I shop around!

I prefer ebay, but I have purchased things off both.

I think etsy is super good for specific items [like kraft envelopes, for instance]. But i think ebay is better for general merchandise [favors, materials to make decor, submersable lights].

@lilsweetie:  Definitely Ebay. I think Etsy is overpriced honestly.

@lilsweetie:  I think Etsy just began offering seller protection but not buyer protection. BUT if you purchase something through Etsy and pay with Pay Pal you can dispute it through them directly. I have a open case right now.

Etsy is a little overpriced. I seem a bee post some rose earrings on etsy, they were $3.99, seems like a good deal, til you look on ebay and can get the same pair for 99 cents + free shipping.

    Ebay is my favorite though.

It depends what you’re buying! I bought my veil on eBay, but my reception dress on Etsy!

@lilsweetie:  Yeah’ it’s super important if someone tries to screw you! I just wish there was an option to leave feedback on Pay Pal transactions outside of Ebay, Etsy, etc.
