Hi, I posted a couple of weeks ago as I’ve fallen in love with this ring from ebay
Anyway, I ordered a similar silver one from Berricle on advise from another Bee to try it out and I absolutely love it with my e-ring!!
I’m just curious about how well the rings are holding up for other Bee’s with this ring? i’ve messaged the seller and asked for it in a half eternity style as i’ll be wearing my ring all of the time so i don’t want to be loosing diamonds from the underside and i’ve also asked for a price if i have it in 10k gold rather than 14k which i’d hope would help the hardyness too….
I’m also considering this style – although i think i’d ask if they could do the millgrain details around the diamonds as that’s what origionally caught my attention in the other one…

@Casperbride: Hi! I ordered from lord of gem rings, I had a custom halo made for a cushion diamond I sold a couple of years ago…I can’t tell you how well the setting held up since I had the setting made for this stone for selling purposes only (held on to it for 1 month), but I can tell you they did a really great job!! I’ll try to dig up some pics

Thanks Soy 🙂
Can anyone help me with regards to the hardyness???

check out pricescope – some members there have had settings and rings made by them and posted reviews.

I love mine! 🙂 I can’t be too much help because I’m not married yet so I haven’t been wearing it to see how it holds up, but it looks like it is made well and the jeweler I took it to to have a look said it was great quality.
I wanted a thin band, and while it is thin, it is also very sturdy. You can see from the profile shot that it’s not flimsy in any way.
I put in a bid price lower than asking price (by $100) and asked to have the diamonds upgraded for $75.

I’m marking this thread because I like some of this seller’s stuff as well…

@Casperbride: I actually have the second ring, and I LOVE it.

Ooh, I love your wedding band! What’s the thickness & width of it?
Have been thinking of buying the same one, but am a little concerned, because the one that they’re selling is 2.8 mm thick & 3.1 mm wide. 3.1 would be too wide for me, and they told me they could make it 2.5 mm wide, but it would still be 2.8 mm thick, which is a little too much, I think. But your band looks just perfect!

Oh! I almost thought it was the same ebay store as mine. I checked and mine came from Lord_of_Pearls. Close name lol.

Mine came from lord of gems 🙂 I paid the full price, they didn’t accept my lower bids, but still 330 dollars is a great price comapred to what I was seeling elsewhere.
It’s a PERFECT match to my e-ring too, lol. I had them make the size custom, and make it yellow gold.

@Ponyo: I just received the same band from Lord of Gem Rings that MissDragonfly84 has. The whole ordering process was kind of a mess (they shipped it to another customer’s address and then it had to be remade), but I finally got it today and it is beautiful! I had them upgrade the diamond quality, make it 2.5mm wide and in a size 3.75. It is delicate and very pretty/ sparkly! The height is pretty low profile, maybe 2mm. Some of the milgrain work is a little crooked, but I am overall very happy with it, especially for the price. I was looking at a very similiar one for about double the price. I hope it holds up to daily wear. I will post some pics soon!

Yes, please post pics! The band is so superpretty!
I asked LOGR about the band thickness, if they could make it 2 mm, but the answer was that it has to have enough depth to hold the diamonds. So I’m guessing that’s a no? I think he’s really bored with my questions, it took him like 3 days to reply.

@Ponyo: The side view is pretty thin, I would say around 2mm. And they were slow to answer with me too, also they are in China so there is a time difference. Here are a few photos, I really like it! My wedding bands are 2 thin half eternities, I will stack this ring with one of those I think. All three plus my ering is too much.
Good luck! I say go for it, they have a great return policy.

Ooh, the band is just gorgeous! (And your e-ring, too btw! )
I think I’ll just ask him once more what the minimum thickness for a 2.5 mm wide ring would be. 2 mm would be fine, 2.8 not so much. The thing is, if I’ll end up buying from the US (or China, hehe), it’ll be so much easier to just keep the band, because of shipping costs & taxes to Europe etc.
