bump – I have the same question!! I’ve looked at Viva Terra but they don’t have everything we are looking for so what are some other stores?

Toughie.

Amazon?

I’m not sure what the home productions selection is like these days, but perhaps ten thousand villages?

FI and I are registering on Amazon, since we’re able to pick from a very wide range of items.  We’re registering for Fiestaware (still made in the US!), Anchor-Hocking glassware (ditto), and are looking at the “American Kitchen” range of pots and pans (made in Wisconsin- some Pyrex items still are as well).

We’re ending up with more made in the USA items than specifically eco-friendly ones (a label I’m wary of anyway), and figure that choosing long-wearing, high quality items with as little plastic and nonstick finishes as possible is our best bet.  I’ve been able to find quite a few items by searching within a department using “made in USA” as a search term.  For some items Amazon is fantastic, since there’s many detailed reviews… but others are from unknown brands with no reviews at all and a seller with a short history and high shipping fees.  I’d say it takes more research than BB&B, C&B and the like. Overall, we’re pretty happy.
