EDIT: So I was wrong, the brooches on that site are not edible (I should really check the site before I suggest stuff).

maybe if you go to other bakeries to inquire just about a broach they might help you out..Vendors always overcharge because they think that they are your only option!

Dumb question but why is it important that it be edible? The “edible” ones are likely made out of spun sugar which is very difficult and therefore very costly. But spun sugar hardens into just plain old sugar– and would taste terribe. I don’t get why it is important to have them be edible when NOONE is going to want to eat them, trust me.
