Hi Edmonton Bees!
My cousin is doing the photography for our wedding. “Unfortunately,” he’s from/lives in Ireland and doesn’t know Edmonton like we know Edmonton. I have a few spots for wedding pictures in mind, but I’m looking for suggestions!
We’re getting married in Feb 2014, so I’m open to both indoor and outdoor spots!
Thanks so much!

What kind of environment do you want in your photos?

Haha! Okay then.
You can go into my profile and find my wedding recaps to view my photos – we took photos at the NAIT HP Centre downtown for the indoors photos. Just Darling Husband and I went outdoors to Ezio Faraone park just north of the river by the high level bridge – the other side of the street from the legislature grounds – for some snowy outdoors ones.
A friend of mine got married the previous summer and she took outdoors photos for the whole bridal party on the grounds at the U of A.
You could even go down into an LRT station.
A good idea is to look up Edmonton photographer’s blogs and check out the locations they are using.

Hm, February in Edmonton would be tricky as it gets quite cold!!
The Muttart Conservatory 🙂
Edmonton River Valley area; personally, my favourite place to walk the dog in winter time (with loads of snow) is Millcreek Ravine. It is really pretty in the winter time. There are a few small bridges where nice shots can be taken.

Legislature would be gorgeous grounds for outdoor photography too!
