I just got a call and they gave me an unofficial offer for the job I interviewed for on Thursday! It is unofficial because it's a government position and depends on getting my clearance and the HR office for the government is so slow. I think it took 3 months for my husband to get his official offer. Anyway, so excited!
PS - The title is in honor of crebre who I have missed very much around here lately!

Ugh @ clearances though. I have one and it took about 3 months to get mine cleared.
What will you be doing? or can you not tell us?
@ejs: I will be keeping track of all the construction that is going on on the base (knowing if it is in development, funding, being built, etc). It is sort of a busy work job that doesn't really require a ton of brain power but it sounds interesting.

Busy work is good!!! It'll keep ya busy! I LIVE for busy work days =]. Plus you'll learn a lot working with construction...could open up a lot of opportunities =]
