I was going to do my normal Sunday TV routine ( a lot of shows I watch are on tonight) but in light of the whole Whitney thing, I'm going to be watching live. I LOVE music and I always love watching The Grammys!
Anyone else watching?? I'm glad they got the elephant out of the room so to speak and mentioned Whitney's passing at the very beginning. I heard they will have J.Hudson do a tribute but I'm excited to see all the performances. Also, loving LL Cool J as the host. He's always classy :)

I joked to DH that I should take a shot every time they said Whitney's name but I'd be dead in an hour.
I'm watching it to. I'm looking forward to the tribute to Whitney, she was such a great singer!
LL Cool J is a fantastic host! There seems to be a great energy to the show already. I can't wait for Adele's comeback performance... LOVE her!
I'm watching its been awsome so far love bruno mars performance, but I'm put off by chris brown he look like he wasn't singing live
I am watching with the exception of switching over to ABC for desperate housewives at 8 :D
I'm watching, too. Some of these hairstyles and outfits are making me feel as if I'm back in the '80s.

As far as Chris Brown goes..of course he wasn't singing live! Haha, he was at the beginning but when he started to dance it went into lip sync. All I'll say is that I think lip synching has it's place...janet and britney and michael would lip sync because all they do is dance. he's not known for the singing skills so I'm okay with it lol.
LOVED Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean's performance.
I'm reallllyyyy looking forward to J Hud's tribute. Adele's comback. And Carrie Underwood too :)
I think it's been great so far!! First time I've watched live and not recorded it. I'm foregoing allllllll my other shows tonight (MobWives, Once Upon a Time, Season 3 Premier of The Walking Dead, and of course, My Fair Wedding w/ Mr. Tutera) But I'm happy with the show so far :) I am really anxious and watching live to see Jennifer soo hurrrry up grammys! Oh and Adele. Yet again...it's the Adele show haha
I'm watching. So happy to see my favorite band The Decemberists got a Grammy nod! That's so awesome, but it is frustrating when an indie band gets "discovered" and makes tickets more expensive and harder to get for the shows (I've been to 7 of their shows, 5 of which I've been right on the rail in front of the stage...)
I;m watching and a little under whelmed thus far... looking forward to Adele, though!!
I'm watching! Thought the Beach Boys were cool, mostly because it reminds me of a being a kid since my dad would listen to them constantly. And I was so proud of taylor, she rocks live at her concerts but tends to get nervous or something and not sound as good at award show, but I thought she did a great job tonight - and she already won Best Country Song and Country Solo Performance. DH is psyched about Foo Fighters and Paul McCartney.
Everything has been great, but I am still kind of pissed that Chris Brown was allowed back.

I did like the Taylor Swift performance, and typically I don't... so glad Lady A just won!
Loved Adele, and why does Talyor swift always look surpised as if like wow people are clapping for me lol. Those people who introduced Talyor sounded great anyone know who they were?
Im not watching. The fact that they gave Chris Brown a stage on the show that he beat up his girlfriend before not too long ago is disgusting. He is a vile piece of shit. For so many reasons. I know not ALL celebrities/musicians are going to be decent people, but good lord, when someone has made it perfectly clear (on more than one occaision) that they are a violent disgusting human being - could they really not find someone else to perform???!!!
Adele kicked butt! Real artist right there. Thought it was so cute that T. Swift is still so surprised when people give her a standing O. I think it's very sweet that she's so humble.

I missed Taylor but saw Adele. I just LOVE that girl. I listen to her EVERYDAY. I had no idea that she lost all that weight and had throat surgery though. I am glad that she is healthier but I kinda liked that she was a plus sized gal like me....
how come when bigger gals become famous they always loose weight?
AAAHHHH!!!! Who sees Kimberly Perry's skirt with its little tulle tiers? JUST LIKE MY WEDDING DRESS! I have such a girl crush on her already, this just solidifies my love.

@bestbuddies: She lost weight because she had throat surgery and had a hard time eating for months. I don't think she was under any sort of media pressure. She's always said she was never concerned with how her weight looks - even well before her health issues.
Adele sounded great yayyy :) I am SOOO DIGGING her blonde hair, she looked so gorgeous. Good for her!
Carrie also look FAB and sang so beautifully with Tony Bennett. Yay Grammies!
Great show so far! Loved the Beach Boys!!! Soo good!!! Bruno Mars was amazing! I am tired of rolling the the deep so had hoped Adele sang something else but she was great as usual!!! Rhianna and Coldplay was awesome!
Oh my, I just spotted Rihanna, I know her style is a bit.. ehm.. but does she have to look that messy? I mean is the grammys.

@Coffee cup: She has such an amazing set of pipes, natural beauty and so much energy... I wish someone would put some CLASSY clothes on her sometime! I like her on the radio but I hate watching her perform because I just can't look at what she's wearing without wanting to vom.
